Description

The Principal Analyst plays a key role in the deployment and monitoring of private funds in the Asia-Pacific region, primarily focusing on private equity and real estate. The role involves critical tasks, requiring autonomy in investment execution, due diligence, portfolio management, and business intelligence gathering. The Principal Analyst will also collaborate closely with Asia-Pacific direct investment teams and private equity colleagues from other regions on various investment and other projects.

What We're Looking For

Work within a small team to conduct due diligence and execute commitments related to private equity funds, covering all aspects of the investment process and presentation to the private equity investment committee.,Collaborate with the direct investment team on co-investments or co-subscriptions.,Participate in portfolio monitoring and assist in maintaining existing relationships with private equity fund managers (and passive co-investments).,Represent the team in investment conferences organized by fund managers and meetings with private fund manager leadership.,Contribute to portfolio monitoring and internal report preparation.,Support portfolio management and construction.,Conduct research and analysis to help maintain business intelligence on potential partners or possible transactions.,Proactively monitor news and information from various sources.,Ensure constant and effective communication with key stakeholders.,Contribute to the continuous updating and improvement of investment, due diligence, and portfolio management tools used by the team.,Support the increased adoption of artificial intelligence in pre-investment and post-investment tasks.,Execute any other related tasks requested by the immediate supervisor.

Ideal Candidate

Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, or accounting.,Master's degree or professional designation (CFA, CAIA) would be an asset.
