This role involves supporting the Private Equity Funds team at La Caisse, one of the world's largest private equity groups. The team manages relationships with over 50 external fund managers, focusing on buyout and venture capital funds across North America, Europe, and Asia. The individual will contribute to investment selection, execution, portfolio monitoring, and manager relationship development.
Support the team in the selection and execution of investments in private equity and venture capital funds.,Contribute to the preparation of rigorous analyses and the drafting of investment recommendations.,Collaborate with other Caisse teams, including the Private Equity group, in the analysis of co-investments.,Actively participate in investment committee presentations, for both fund and co-investment discussions.,Take part in portfolio monitoring and the preparation of internal reports.,Support senior team members in developing relationships with external managers and represent La Caisse at annual meetings for portfolio firms.,Contribute to the creation, updating, and improvement of portfolio management tools used by the team.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance or any other related discipline.,Minimum of three (3) years of experience in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, consulting, or other related fields.,Strong academic skills and a history of high performance.,Strong interest in private markets and investment funds.
