Description

The Actuarial Analyst or Senior Actuarial Analyst will play a key role in analyzing the profitability of savings and group annuity products, contributing to the profitable growth strategy of the business line within the insurance and financial security sector. The role involves contributing to an environment where clients feel confident and secure about their future.

What We're Looking For

Participate in the development, improvement, and optimization of actuarial models to support business decisions.

Conduct experience studies and contribute to the establishment of actuarial assumptions for savings and group annuity products.

Collaborate in the development of pricing strategies for the Group Insurance, Savings and Retirement Solutions (SAEC) sector, aiming for profitable growth.

Contribute to the establishment and calculation of various compensation programs related to products and business lines.

Improve analysis processes and tools to generate gains in efficiency, quality, and reliability of results.

Participate in various strategic projects, including establishing the business line budget and formulating recommendations to optimize profitability from a sound risk management perspective.

Ideal Candidate

Recognized for a solid understanding of how pension plans work in Canada.

Demonstrated experience in the use and development of complex financial projection models.

Proficiency in the Office suite, used to effectively structure, analyze, and communicate information.

Holds a Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science.

Successfully passed one or more actuarial exams (SOA or ICA) is an asset.
