This role supports the business objectives of the Corporate Credit mandate, specifically for the Portfolio Financing strategy, which involves investments in CLOs, ABS backed by corporate underlying assets, and financing of loan and/or fund portfolios. The individual will contribute to strategy deployment, transaction analysis and execution, and rigorous management and monitoring of files, while fostering collaboration and teamwork.
Participate in the due diligence process for investment opportunities, including analyzing assets to be financed, the proposed financing structure, borrower quality, and inherent risks. Contribute to the structuring and negotiation of legal documentation for investment opportunities (term sheets, credit agreements, etc.). Participate in drafting and presenting relevant preliminary analyses and investment recommendation documents to decision-making bodies. Rigorously monitor portfolio files, including producing required documentation for individual files and the overall portfolio (tracking sheets, internal risk ratings, sectoral presentations, etc.), monitoring financial performance, and identifying potential issues. Collaborate with various internal CDPQ teams related to portfolio and strategy management, including Strategy and Development, Risk, Valuation, Tax, Legal Affairs, etc.
Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience. First or second-cycle degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or any other related discipline. CFA, CAIA, FRM accreditations are considered an asset.
Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree (1st or 2nd cycle)
