Description

The successful candidate will support the business objectives of the Public Corporate Credit mandate within Fixed Income, specifically managing a portfolio of public corporate debt across various regions (Canada, United States, Europe, United Kingdom) and different instrument types (bonds, term loans, credit derivatives, ETFs). This role involves fundamental analysis of companies, development of quantitative tools to support portfolio managers, and fostering collaboration.

What We're Looking For

Contribute to the development and evolution of various tools supporting portfolio management and fundamental company monitoring activities,Perform rigorous quantitative analyses to support portfolio managers in decision-making (risk level, relative values, allocation between segments, tactical management, etc.),Conduct in-depth analyses of the macroeconomic context and credit market to support portfolio managers,Contribute to the analysis of new companies to add to the covered universe, monitoring of portfolio companies, and generation of transaction ideas, including production of required documentation on individual companies and the overall portfolio,Participate in team meetings to discuss markets, portfolio positioning, ongoing transactions, and investment universe companies,Collaborate with various internal teams at La Caisse related to portfolio and strategy management, including Negotiation, Strategy and Development, Risk, Data, Analytics, and Technological Transformation teams

Ideal Candidate

Minimum of one year of relevant experience,1st or 2nd cycle degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in finance, financial engineering, or any other related discipline,CFA, CAIA, FRM accreditations considered an asset

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in finance, financial engineering or related discipline
