Description

The Analyst position in Domestic Corporate Action within Capital Markets Operations at National Bank involves contributing expertise to the evolution and execution of financial markets business strategy and wealth management. This role focuses on processing and analyzing distributions from securities, managing deadlines, tax deductions, currency conversions, and exceptions. Responsibilities also include analyzing market event information, creating memos for investment advisors, verifying data accuracy for client portfolios, identifying file-related risks, preparing accounting entries for reorganization events, and interacting with various bank sectors to support operations and address stakeholder needs.

What We're Looking For

Perform processing and analysis relating to distributions generated by securities, while taking into account deadlines and various variables (e.g., type of product and client, tax deductions, currency conversion), and various exceptions.,Analyze information received on market events and write memos for investment advisors.,Collect, compile, and verify the accuracy of varied and available data and reflect it in client portfolios.,Identify all risk elements associated with a file or situation.,Analyze securities position and prepare accounting entries to reflect mandatory and optional reorganization events in client accounts.,Interact with various sectors of the Bank and more experienced professionals to offer support in daily operations.,Identify the needs of stakeholders, identify the problem presented and adapt interventions, while providing quality service.

Ideal Candidate

Holder of a three-year college or university degree or academic equivalent,Four years of relevant experience,Experience related to securities operations,Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines,Knowledge of Global Plus, XSP, ISM, AS00 (desirable)
