Description

This role within CDPQ India supports the real estate team in achieving investment, asset management, and portfolio management objectives. The analyst will focus on optimizing returns, collaborating on transactions, and diligently monitoring portfolio companies to create value for the organization.

What We're Looking For

Participate in transaction selection and prepare preliminary analyses and investment recommendations.,Execute rigorous financial modeling to support senior team members.,Contribute to and ensure the timely update of internal reports.,Conduct exhaustive examinations of cash flow projections for target properties and financial reports of target companies.,Establish representative comparables within the competitive universe and perform detailed analysis.,Assist senior team members in preparing and organizing meetings and discussions with partners.,Systematically conduct in-depth research on current sector trends and proactively gather intelligence from relevant sources.,Develop effective research and monitoring tools.,Produce sectoral and market studies to support business development.,Participate in developing work processes and updating required information.,Contribute to asset management, including establishing budgets and monitoring performance.,Support senior team members to generate added value in asset and portfolio management.

Ideal Candidate

Right to work in India.,At least 2 to 4 years of experience in finance or investment with an international institutional investor.,Bachelor's degree in commerce, finance, economics, or accounting from a top-tier university.,Master's degree in finance, CA or CFA designation is considered an asset.,Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills.,Proficiency in financial market IT tools (Excel, Capital IQ, ThomsonOne, Bloomberg, etc.).,International experience, particularly in Japanese and Australian markets, is an asset.,Experience in Indian public markets is a significant asset.
