Analyst, Product Management - Alternate Solutions Group (Spanish native proficiency required)

Description

This role is within CIBC's Global Markets business, specifically the Alternate Solutions Group (ASG) team, which focuses on innovative, technology-driven capital markets solutions. The analyst will support the FX cross-border business, including Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) on ATMs, Point of Sale (POS), and eCommerce, with a focus on the Latin America (LATAM) region. This involves providing analytical and operational support to clients in a fast-paced environment.

What We're Looking For

Identify, analyze, and interpret patterns in complex data sets and make recommendations for growth opportunities and business initiatives.,Continuously monitor, track, and evaluate client performance, including routine reporting.,Conduct extensive quantitative research to identify and analyze industry trends and opportunities.,Work with associates and directors to investigate, analyze, and resolve issues impacting clients.,Regularly meet with customers (in English and Spanish) to review product performance, technical projects, and value-added initiatives.,Support the sales cycle by creating customer-facing presentations, analysis, and ad hoc product expertise.,Identify and implement improvements to product and overall value proposition.,Understand and review processes, identify areas for improvement, and propose and implement solutions to increase productivity.,Client-focused and results-oriented with strong prioritization skills.,Experience working cross-functionally with technology, operations, and business teams.,Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a strong team-oriented approach.,Motivated by building and scaling a new business, comfortable with ambiguity and making informed decisions with limited information.

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor's degree in Business, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).,3-5 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-performance environment, ideally within consulting, capital markets, fintech, or product management.,Experience in payments, foreign exchange, or financial technology is highly desirable.
