Description

This role is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and producing tactical level information and intelligence to protect CIBC's clients, assets, staff, and operations. The analyst will deliver proactive intelligence across cyber, financial, geopolitical, and physical security domains, leveraging intelligence methodologies to enhance the Fusion Threat Intelligence program.

What We're Looking For

Provide specialized advice, consultation, and analysis on intelligence issues and trends relating to Information Security, Fraud, Corporate Security, and Fusion. Produce, oversee, and peer-review proactive tactical briefs and support existing operational intelligence tasks. Leverage open, closed, and internal sources for robust tactical level analysis and concise intelligence products. Support complex issues and incidents as an intelligence practitioner with an emphasis on cyber and financial intelligence. Identify potential threats to CIBC, take action, and contribute to event management. Undertake special projects with internal and external stakeholders. Develop and manage relationships with management and business leaders, guiding collaboration with security pillars and providing knowledge of intelligence best practices and advanced source collection/analysis techniques. Contribute to the development of operational threat intelligence capability within the Fusion Threat Intelligence team. Contribute to the growth and development of highly skilled intelligence analysts. Support Fusion Centre management, team members, and peers to deliver Fusion programs. Create, maintain, update, and share Fusion Intelligence dashboard and products.

Ideal Candidate

1-2 years of knowledge in information security/cybersecurity, fraud or physical security. Relevant postsecondary education (e.g., university degree or college diploma). Exceptional ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and logically, both verbally and in writing. Enhanced analytical capabilities sufficient to conduct a broad scope of intelligence analysis. Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism and integrity. Contribute to a trusting and inclusive work environment.
