Analyst, Institutional Client Credit Management

Description

This role involves supporting the management and administration of credit and transactional risk limits for various fund relationships, including mutual funds, pension funds, hedge funds, and managed accounts. The analyst will maintain relationships with RBC Capital Markets professionals and counterparties, assist in developing transaction solutions, prepare transaction requests, safeguard credit quality, ensure proper recording of limit systems, and help prepare management information reports.

What We're Looking For

Prepare transaction requests for RBC CM credit-intensive trading activities with global asset managers.,Understand and assess client investment strategies from a risk perspective.,Maintain accuracy of trading limit data within CCMS.,Review trading counterparties.,Manage compliance, including limit excesses, ATE triggers, and NAV monitoring.,Participate in KYC process and assist in annual reviews for CM relationships.,Assist in collation of regulatory documents and confirmations.,Complete assigned projects and other duties supporting business initiatives.,Maintain a strong understanding of RBFG trading policies and guidelines.,Initiate and maintain contact with trading professionals, Group Risk Management, Trading Documentation, Client Management Group, and RBC Law Group.

Ideal Candidate

Honours, B.A. or B. Com or equivalent degree.,Understanding and knowledge of the fund industry and securities regulations governing funds.,Familiarity and basic understanding of trading products (FX, swaps, securities finance).,Knowledge of the RBC global network and capabilities, and ability to interpret RBC credit processes and credit policies.,Understanding of trading documentation including ISDA, GMSLA, and GMRA.
