Description

The Royal Bank of Canada is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Analyst to join their ICFR Project Management Office (PMO) team. This role involves assisting with the management of ICFR projects, including scheduling, planning, and tracking progress. The analyst will also be responsible for analyzing and implementing improvements to processes, workflows, and project management approaches within the ICFR Centre of Excellence (CoE) team. The position supports RBC Internal Audit in delivering valuable advice, assurance, and fostering best practices across the business.

What We're Looking For

Develop appropriate project management procedures, documentation, and tools for major activities, assisting the ICFR CoE team in their use.,Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation of the ICFR program, including progress status reporting, issue and remediation tracking, and dashboard generation.,Identify opportunities and implement enhancements for administrative improvements in procedures, processes, or systems to support the ICFR CoE team.,Coordinate with external and internal stakeholders to facilitate audit requests, providing necessary documentation and updates for the ICFR program.

Ideal Candidate

Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (Must-have).,Knowledge of SOX, FIDICIA and internal control framework requirements and compliance (Nice-to-have).,Experience working within an audit execution or ICFR reporting team, or external courses related to SOX, FIDICIA, and internal control (Nice-to-have).,Experience in a financial institution or technology company, dealing with multiple business platforms, business processes, geographies, and legal entities (Nice-to-have).,Experience in a PMO or project management role (Nice-to-have).
