The Analyst, Global Investment Banking position at CIBC Capital Markets in Montreal is a fast-paced and challenging role focused on providing analytical, financial modeling, research, and presentation support. This includes assisting with equity and debt underwriting, corporate finance advisory, and mergers and acquisitions for a diverse range of corporate, government, and institutional clients across North America, Latin America, and other key financial centers. Assist in developing client proposals for equity and debt placements, mergers, acquisitions, and other financial products and advisory services.,Conduct industry research and analysis to identify and/or analyze investment banking business opportunities.,Develop and audit sophisticated financial models; prepare industry and financial analysis to determine client recommendations.,Lead industry comparable value and transaction precedent analyses and assist in company due diligence investigations.,Prepare offering memoranda and marketing materials and assist with prospectus drafting.,Accept flexibility in required personal time commitments and often work beyond normal business hours.,Be legally eligible to work at the specified location and have a valid work or study permit where applicable.
