The Events and Sponsorship Analyst will support the planning and execution of internal and external events for CIBC Capital Markets in the US, including client-facing events, industry and charitable sponsorships, internal events, and community programs. This role involves assisting senior team members with logistics, communication, and administrative tasks to ensure successful event delivery.
Assist with event registration, logistical planning, hotel accommodations, travel schedules, food and beverage orders.,Prepare marketing collateral, manage branded gifts, and provide on-site support at client events.,Source venues, manage reservations, facilitate contracts, and provide recommendations on event logistics.,Assist with internal events, employee engagement initiatives, People Network programs, charitable partnerships, employee-giving campaigns, and volunteer activities.,Help with set-up, registration, and on-site support for internal events.,Liaise with internal A/V and Facilities teams, building Security, and external vendors.,Assist with event communication, including invitations, confirmations, and appointments.,Track and report on RSVPs, maintain accurate attendee records, and provide timely updates to internal stakeholders.,Maintain and update the team's master event calendar.,Assist with distributing post-event surveys, compiling responses, and summarizing feedback.,Build relationships with key internal stakeholders to centralize event activities.,Assist with document preparation and create event materials (name badges, agendas, signage).,Support the preparation and shipment of materials and supplies for off-site events and conferences.,Monitor and maintain inventory of event supplies and place orders.,Manage and maintain external client-facing data, follow procedures for data updates, and provide weekly updates for reporting.,Reconcile event-related expenses and submit invoices timely.,Assist with tracking ROI for client entertainment and events.,Conduct research on venues, vendors, and industry trends and maintain a database.,Assist with scheduling for US-based podcast recording when needed.
1-2 years of experience in events/administration in the Financial Services or related industries.,College degree.
