Description

This opportunity is with a global bank's operational excellence center in Malaysia, focusing on enhancing scalability and service quality. The role involves conducting initial reviews of electronic and audio communications surveillance alerts to identify market abuse risks and policy breaches related to financial/securities markets. The analyst will also drive improvements in surveillance monitoring, report to management, and assist with compliance investigations and projects.

What We're Looking For

Conduct initial (Level 1) review of electronic and audio communications surveillance alerts.

Monitor for market abuse risks and potential breaches of company policies and applicable financial/securities market regulations.

Drive improvements in RBC's electronic and audio communications surveillance monitoring functionality through ongoing assessment and reporting to management.

Assist with Compliance Investigations and other ad-hoc projects as required.

Ideal Candidate

MBA/University Degree and/or relevant professional training.

Minimum 4-6 years of related experience.

Experience in Compliance, Capital Markets Compliance, Wealth Management Compliance, a trading background, or a finance degree.

Sound working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations in relevant regions.

Solid working knowledge of the Company's IT systems and Microsoft Office Products.

Sound working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations as well as internal policies and procedures.

Proficient in spoken and written English.

Work Hours

40 hours/week, 9:00am – 6:00pm
