Description

The Analyst, China Equities will support the China Portfolio Manager(s) in the Global Asset Management (GAM) team in Hong Kong. This role involves implementing stock screening processes, conducting on-the-ground research on companies and sectors, and eventually taking on primary analyst coverage for specific sectors.

What We're Looking For

Work closely with the China PM and other GAM teams to implement the stock screening process.,Conduct on the ground research on companies and sectors as directed by the portfolio management team.,Take on primary analyst coverage in due course on specific sector universe.,Good understanding of financial modelling.,Solid analytical capabilities to digest research and information, and extract interesting and thematic trends.,Ability to multi-task and work with short timelines in a rapid and changing information flow environment.,Self-starter with strong initiative on existing projects and identifying process improvements.,Good team player, able to work well within a diverse and multi-office team.,Attention to detail.,Strong command of Excel, PowerPoint.,Excellent communication skills.

Ideal Candidate

Related degree educated (Business, Economics, Finance etc),CFA preferred
