Alternative Investment Product Specialist

Description

Join RBC Wealth Management US to drive alternative investments adoption. This role involves developing and executing strategies for the alternative investments platform, building advisor awareness through marketing and events, and implementing new capabilities. The specialist will partner with product sponsors, advisors, clients, and internal RBC teams, and manage vendor relationships.

What We're Looking For

Maintain an in-depth understanding of the wealth management and private markets landscape.,Support business development and field consulting through product and market expertise, sales ideas, and data-driven campaigns.,Present RBC's alternatives capabilities to existing advisors and recruits.,Develop strong relationships with RBC's research team and fund managers.,Coordinate the alternative investment team's activities throughout the fundraise lifecycle.,Plan and execute national and regional RBC events, and promote RBC participation in sponsor-led events.,5-10 years of alternative investments experience.,Knowledge of alternative manager universe and ability to articulate key benefits and risks of various alternative investment strategies.,Experience developing and executing business marketing strategy in a multi-faceted B2B environment.,Strong project management and event planning coordination skills.,Advanced PowerPoint skills and ability to synthesize clear visual messages from complex materials.,Passion for private markets, self-directed, and a strong customer service orientation.,Ability to travel.,Undergraduate degree (with preferred concentration in finance, economics, business administration, marketing, communication).

Ideal Candidate

Undergraduate degree (with preferred concentration in finance, economics, business administration, marketing, communication).,Advanced degree (MBA) or industry designations (CFA, CAIA) preferred.,Securities industry licenses 7, 63 and 65, or series 66; or willingness to become licensed preferred.
