The AI Marketing Technologist will join Lightspeed's Marketing team in Montreal to design, build, and deploy AI-driven tools and workflows. This role focuses on enhancing marketing insights, automating processes, and scaling experimentation. It involves close collaboration with Marketing Automation, IS, and Data teams to integrate data into intelligent systems that drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
Build and deploy internal AI automations and prompt-driven workflows for insight gathering, customer scenario simulation, analysis of Gong and ChurnZero data, and scaling internal research.,Oversee the setup and configuration of AI agents using low-code/no-code platforms, ensuring proper training for text analysis, semantic search, and real-time insights, with continuous performance monitoring and refinement.,Partner with Go To Market (GTM) stakeholders to design fast, structured tests for messaging, targeting, and full-funnel optimization.,Rapidly spin up proof-of-concepts (POCs) that evolve into reliable internal tools, dashboards, and integrations.,Identify GTM inefficiencies and, in collaboration with the IS team, deploy AI or automation to remove bottlenecks.,Work with the Data team to ingest, model, and analyze large, complex datasets, extract key findings, and distribute actionable insights.,Train and support marketing teammates on emerging AI tools, including building documentation and onboarding paths.,Monitor new AI and MarTech trends, and collaborate with IS to evaluate and pilot tools for personalized outreach, creative testing, and behavior-triggered campaigns.
Strong Python experience and ability to build scripts, workflows, or prototypes using platforms like AirOps, RelevanceAI, HumanFirst, or Zapier.,Familiarity integrating with Salesforce, ChurnZero, and Gong.,Solid understanding of go-to-market strategy, product marketing principles, and customer lifecycle analytics.,Track record of operationalizing AI in lead scoring, insight extraction, or campaign automation.,Ability to synthesize data, design experiments, and communicate insights clearly across teams.,Experience in prompt engineering and leveraging large-language models for content, research, and insights.,Proven background working across various seniority levels and skill sets (Marketing, P&T, Sales, IS, Data) to enable rapid experimentation and learning loops.,Experience with Looker or similar tools is a plus.,A bias for action and the ability to influence stakeholders to drive tangible business outcomes.
Fluency in English as a working language is required due to the company's global nature with employees and clients outside of Quebec.
