Join RBC Capital Markets' AI & Digital Engineering team as a Junior AI Engineer to help shape the strategic direction of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. This hands-on role involves contributing to innovation across global financial markets, collaborating with high-performing teams, and gaining exposure to executive stakeholders. Responsibilities include assisting in the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML models, integrating AI capabilities into existing systems, and contributing to rapid prototyping projects for emerging technologies like Generative AI and blockchain.

What We're Looking For

Assist in designing, developing, and deploying AI/ML models (data preprocessing, model training, validation, monitoring).,Work closely with senior engineers and business stakeholders to integrate AI capabilities into existing systems and workflows.,Contribute to proof-of-concept projects and rapid prototyping to explore emerging technologies (e.g., Generative AI, blockchain).,Support documentation, testing, and performance tuning of AI models to ensure scalability, robustness, and compliance with financial industry standards.,Participate in team discussions to refine AI strategies.,Stay updated on industry trends, share insights, and propose improvements to enhance the team's AI capabilities.

Ideal Candidate

Must-have: Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related Quantitative field.,Nice-to-have: Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related Quantitative field.
