Description
Saputo's AG Warehouse is seeking an experienced Agronomist to join their Rochester team. This hands-on role involves providing expert on-farm recommendations for fertiliser, broadacre, and pasture cropping, building strong client relationships, and contributing to the growth of the agronomic business. The position aims to deliver tailored agronomic solutions that enhance productivity and sustainability for farming customers across Victoria, Tasmania, and Southern New South Wales. What We're Looking For
Deliver tailored agronomic advice aligned with clients’ production goals.,Conduct on-farm assessments and provide recommendations for fertiliser, pasture, and broadacre cropping.,Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients.,Stay current with agronomic trends, technologies, and product developments.,Help to continue to build and lead the agronomic business and be an integral member of the team.
Ideal Candidate
Minimum 2+ years’ experience in agronomy, preferably in pasture and/or broadacre.,Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, or related field.,Strong technical knowledge and practical experience with on-farm recommendations.,Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.,An interest or experience in mentoring a junior agronomist, would be highly desirable.
