This role at RBC Investor & Treasury Services Malaysia, a 24/5 operational processing center, involves managing cash and security instructions for clients in line with market, NAV, and Treasury deadlines. The Administrator is expected to deliver high-quality, efficient services to internal and external clients with a client-first approach, specifically supporting the UK region.
Process, validate, and authorize corporate/income/tax events and instructions within required timeframes, adhering to SLAs and operational procedures, and reporting deviations promptly.,Escalate operational issues that may cause financial or reputational harm to RBC or its clients.,Ensure entitlement entries carry correct valuation for accurate Unit Price calculation and process entitlement receipts within service standards.,Adhere strictly to team control functions, including operations/events and End of Day checklists.,Assist with daily administrative tasks such as investigating, amending, and clearing reconciling items.,Respond to all queries and emails within agreed service standards.,Review procedures and processing regularly, advising the Supervisor on process improvements.,Develop and maintain good working relationships with brokers, fund managers, clients, and custodians.,Provide assistance to other RBC INVESTOR & TREASURY SERVICES teams when required.,Actively engage in cross-training for team flexibility and provide backup relief for absent staff.,2+ years of experience in a Global custody or related financial institution.,Good written and verbal communication skills.,Ability to use initiative.,Excellent attention to detail.,Good interpersonal skills and networking abilities with sub-custodians and internal departments.,Ability to work as part of a team or alone to achieve collective goals.,Good organization skills and ability to prioritize workloads to meet tight deadlines.,Able to work under pressure.
Investment Operations Certificate (IOC) qualifications (Nice-to-have)
40 hours/week; working hours would be between 3pm-12am or 4pm – 1am
Flexibility is required to support business needs, specifically working hours between 3pm-12am or 4pm-1am to support the UK region.
