As an Administrative Associate at CIBC Wood Gundy, you will collaborate closely with Investment Advisors to manage client portfolios and cultivate new business. Your role involves direct engagement with high-net-worth clients, providing support, identifying business opportunities, and proactively enhancing the client experience. Key responsibilities include maintaining compliance standards, assisting with investment planning and proposals, and redirecting assets based on client profiles. You will also focus on client engagement by anticipating needs, building trust, and ensuring exceptional service. Critical thinking is required for document verification and reviewing complex legal agreements. Strong organizational skills are essential to support advisors, respond to client requests promptly, and improve team productivity by uncovering business opportunities and assisting with asset allocation.

What We're Looking For

Maintain compliance standards for client files and administrative processes.,Assist in developing investment plans and proposals for clients.,Aid in redirecting client assets based on risk tolerance and demographics.,Engage with clients personally to build trust and improve their experience.,Anticipate client needs and communicate promptly with the team.,Verify documents for completeness and proper signatures in accordance with procedures.,Review complex legal agreements related to cash management products.,Support advisors by responding to client requests swiftly and maintaining compliance.,Improve team productivity and assist in asset allocation.

Ideal Candidate

Current accreditation and good standing as an Investment Representative (IR) with Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization - Investment Dealer (CIRO-ID).,Registered Representative (RR) licensing is an asset.,Financial Services and/or Brokerage industry experience.,Working knowledge of various quotation equipment.
