Description

This role involves providing comprehensive administrative support to an Investment Advisor and their team within CIBC Wood Gundy, a full-service brokerage for high-net-worth clients. Key responsibilities include managing client onboarding, handling various administrative tasks related to client accounts, and assisting investment advisors with projects. The successful candidate will be expected to uphold compliance standards, interpret and execute client requests, and ensure exceptional client service in a fast-paced investment environment.

What We're Looking For

Maintain compliance standards when interacting with clients and managing client files.,Perform administrative duties and participate in administrative processes to support the Investment Advisor and team.,Manage client onboarding, account opening, transfers, and various account changes.,Provide administrative support for various projects of the Investment Advisor team.,Interpret, validate, and execute internal and external client requests, including establishing or modifying client signature delegations for complex corporate structures.,Review existing files and rectify documentation deficiencies.,Verify documents in accordance with established signature delegation procedures to ensure completeness and proper signing.,Enable and document the implementation of new products and changes to existing products.,Address gaps in signing authority documents and escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal partners.,Build personal rapport with clients to foster meaningful interactions.,Collaborate with the team to ensure client needs are met and provide administrative support.,Follow through on client requests, answer questions, and deliver an exceptional experience.,Respond quickly to client requests and maintain compliance standards on all files.,Ability to work effectively under pressure.,Demonstrate thoroughness and attention to detail.

Ideal Candidate

Relevant experience in administrative support (considered an asset).,Diploma in secretarial studies, office administration, or equivalent experience.,Client-first mindset, engaging purposefully to find solutions.,Caring and understanding of diverse perspectives.,Professional attitude and strong team spirit.,Strong critical thinking skills to inform decision-making.,Adherence to CIBC values: trust, teamwork, and accountability.
