Description

This role is for an Administrative Assistant within CIBC's Wood Gundy division, providing support to an Investment Advisor and their team. The individual will be responsible for managing high-net-worth client accounts, ensuring compliance, performing various administrative tasks, interpreting and executing client requests, verifying documentation, and fostering strong client relationships. It offers an opportunity to learn the investment business in a professional and dynamic environment.

What We're Looking For

Maintain compliance standards when dealing with clients and handling client files.,Perform administrative duties and support administrative processes for the Investment Advisor and team.,Interpret, validate, and execute internal and external client requests, including establishing or modifying client signature delegations for complex corporate structures.,Review existing files and correct documentation deficiencies.,Verify documents according to established signature delegation procedures for completeness and proper signing.,Enable and document the implementation of new products and changes to existing products.,Close gaps in signing authority documents, escalate unresolved issues, or engage internal partners for resolution.,Build personal rapport and meaningful interactions with clients.,Strengthen relationships by collaborating with the team to meet customer needs.,Follow through on requests, answer questions, and provide exceptional client experience.,Respond quickly to client requests and maintain compliance standards on all files.,Prioritize clients and find appropriate solutions.,Care about people, understand different perspectives, and learn from others' experiences.,Demonstrate critical thinking skills for decision-making.,Embody CIBC's values of trust, teamwork, and accountability.
