The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the Investment Advisor team within CIBC's Wood Gundy brokerage, serving high-net-worth clients. This role involves assisting advisors with client investments, managing client accounts, and supporting business development activities in a dynamic environment focused on learning the investment business.
Maintain compliance standards in client dealings and files.,Conduct administrative activities and processes to support Investment Advisors and teams.,Engage in marketing and business development activities, assist in developing investment plans and proposals.,Assist in directing assets into suitable financial products based on client risk profiles.,Connect with clients to ensure their needs are met and provide exceptional service.,Heighten CIBC brand awareness by attending local events and participating in marketing activities.,Build a network to generate future opportunities and collaborate with the team.,Provide timely responses to client requests and maintain compliance.,Improve team productivity, uncover business opportunities, and help direct assets into financial products.
Minimum of one year of administrative experience, preferably in finance.,Legally eligible to work at the specified location(s) and possess a valid work or study permit if applicable.
37.5 hours/week, Monday through Friday
