Description

This role is for an Administrative Assistant within CIBC's Wood Gundy division, providing administrative support to the Investment Advisor team that serves high net worth clients. Key responsibilities include maintaining compliance, assisting with marketing, business development, investment planning, and ensuring excellent client engagement in a professional and dynamic investment environment.

What We're Looking For

Maintain compliance standards in client dealings and files.,Conduct administrative activities and processes to support Investment Advisors and teams.,Engage in marketing and business development activities, including assisting with investment plans and proposals.,Assist in directing client assets into suitable financial products based on their risk profile.,Connect with clients personally and enhance relationships through administrative support.,Respond to client requests effectively.,Heighten CIBC brand awareness through local events and outreach.,Grow professional network to generate future opportunities.,Support Investment Advisors by providing timely responses and maintaining compliance.,Improve team productivity, uncover business opportunities, and help direct assets to appropriate financial products.

Ideal Candidate

Minimum of one year of administrative experience, preferably in finance.,Completion of Canadian Securities Course (CSC).,Completion of Conduct & Practice Handbook (CPH).,Completion of CIRO-ID licensing or willingness to complete the Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam within 6-12 months of hire.
