Description

CAA-Québec is seeking a Cloud Database Administrator (Snowflake and Salesforce Data Cloud) to play a key role in the evolution of their data ecosystem. The position involves modernizing platforms to support strategic initiatives in analytics, integration, and data governance. The administrator will ensure the performance, security, and reliability of data environments, collaborating with engineering, analysis, and governance teams to deploy robust and scalable solutions. This is a full-time position with a hybrid remote work model.

What We're Looking For

Administer, monitor, and optimize Snowflake and Salesforce Data Cloud environments.,Manage data models, unified entities, customer profiles, and identities.,Ensure data security and compliance (access control, encryption, auditing, role and privilege management).,Collaborate with BI, Data Engineering, and CRM teams to ensure data quality and availability.,Implement and supervise real-time/batch flows.,Resolve data flow incidents.,Automate recurring tasks using tools like DBT, Snowpipe.,Define and apply best practices for data management and system integration.,Manage performance and usage costs (warehouse monitoring, query and storage tuning).

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor's Degree in IT, software engineering, or other related discipline.,10 years of experience in database management/administration.,Minimum of 3 years of experience with Snowflake and Salesforce Data Cloud.,Solid experience in database administration (Snowflake, SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.).,Excellent command of SQL and advanced notions in query optimization.,Experience in data security, governance, and access control.,Experience in Customer 360 / CDP.,Good understanding of cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP).,Knowledge of data pipelines (Snowpipe, DBT, Fivetran, etc.).,Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and data integration principles (ETL/ELT).,Snowflake and Salesforce certifications (asset).

Special Commitments
