Description

This role is for an Investment Banking Associate within the Energy Coverage Team, based in Houston, TX. The associate will support M&A and financing transactions, develop new business presentations, and perform detailed financial analysis. They will also work with Analysts on client materials and coordinate with other groups to evaluate and execute business opportunities.

What We're Looking For

Assist in the execution of M&A and financing transactions.,Develop new business presentations.,Conduct detailed financial analysis.,Work with Analysts in development of pitch books and related client materials.,Coordinate with Industry, Product, and other groups to evaluate and execute business opportunities.,Proactively identify operational risks/control deficiencies in the business.,Review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to business activities.,Escalate operational risk loss events, control deficiencies and risks to line manager and relevant risk and control functions.,Minimum of three years of Investment Banking experience and previous experience in the Energy space.,Experience executing M&A deals, specifically in relation to financial institutions, and ability to lead transaction execution on multiple deals at a time.,Must maintain high standards of professional and ethical conduct.

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor's degree, MBA, MA or MS or equivalent with emphasis in finance/accounting/engineering.,Series 79 & 63 licensed.
