Accounting Associate
Description
Nuvei, a Canadian fintech company, is looking for an Accounting Associate – Mid Level to join their fast-growing finance team in Cyprus. This role involves supporting monthly reporting and assisting with quarterly and yearly auditing requirements, working within a collaborative team to meet deadlines.
What We're Looking For
Multi-currency accounting entries and adjustments
Support monthly processes
Month-end closing procedures
Income and expenditure reconciliations
Balance sheet Accounts reconciliations
Accounts payable, management of supplier accounts, and invoice queries
Assisting in the preparation of VAT returns
Respond to requests for information from various stakeholders, including auditors, tax consultants, and other internal managers.
Ideal Candidate
At least 3 years of bookkeeping and VAT experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, and complex organization
Excellent use of MS Office (Excel)
Familiarity with ERPs (such as SAP Business, Oracle) - An advantage
B.A in Accounting and Finance or similar – An Advantage
Professional Qualification (CAT, AAT Holder, LCCI) - An advantage
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree (or similar in Accounting and Finance)
