This internship at National Bank involves contributing to financial discipline and process improvement through accounting, financial data analysis, and auditing. The role focuses on optimizing analysis environments using tools like SQL, SAP, and Excel, performing financial and operational analyses, supporting hedge accounting calculations, and participating in internal audit mandates to evaluate processes and formulate recommendations, including supporting external auditors for financial statement audits.
What We're Looking For
Optimize analysis environments (SQL, SAP, Excel) by improving tools and developing dashboards.,Perform financial and operational analyses to support various business lines and simplify disclosure and and management reporting.,Support the production of calculations related to hedge accounting, quarterly and annual reports.,Participate in internal audit mandates to evaluate processes and communicate findings, contributing to recommendations.,Contribute to financial audit and internal control work, including supporting external auditors.,Be an undergraduate or graduate student in accounting or auditing.,Be proficient in Excel and interested in financial data analysis.,Have an understanding of financial and accounting concepts.,Have an interest in pursuing the CPA pathway.,Possess good analytical and synthesis skills, initiative, and rigor.
