Account Manager, Retail - Dutch Speaking

Lightspeed is looking for an Account Manager to join their Retail/Ecommerce team in Amsterdam. This role involves managing and expanding relationships with Lightspeed's highest-valued retail customers. The successful candidate will collaborate to understand customer goals, provide consistent value throughout the customer journey, build strong long-term relationships, and ensure sustained business growth. Responsibilities also include advocating for industry and customer needs internally and working cross-functionally to provide exceptional customer satisfaction.

What We're Looking For

Nurture excellent relationships with existing customers and ensure their ongoing success,

Meet and exceed sales quotas,

Plan and deliver Quarterly Business Reviews and Success Plans,

Monitor customer usage data, go-live dates, and health indicators to develop strategies for account retention and growth,

Advocate industry and customer needs within the Lightspeed organization to support innovation,

Work cross-functionally with internal teams (implementation, support, product) to provide customer satisfaction and resolve at-risk events,

Own and drive the strategy for each customer in your book of business,

Funnel customer feedback to appropriate teams to improve the end-to-end customer journey and address product gaps

Ideal Candidate

Experience in customer success, account management, sales development or business development,

Understanding of solution-based consultative sales and customer success in a SaaS environment,

Professional poise and confidence while communicating with customers,

Great task and time management skills,

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (preferred, not necessary),

Ability to use Salesforce, Churn Zero (preferred, not necessary),

Industry expertise in retail/hospitality (preferred, not necessary)
