Account Manager (German speaking, Berlin, m/f/x)

Lightspeed Commerce Inc. is seeking an Account Manager for their Hospitality team in Berlin. This role focuses on expanding business with existing high-value hospitality customers by building strong, long-term relationships, understanding their goals, and providing consistent value throughout their journey to ensure sustained business growth. The position requires a sales-driven approach and excellent customer relationship management to help clients achieve desired outcomes. German language skills are essential for this role.

What We're Looking For

Nurture excellent relationships with existing customers and ensure their ongoing success.,Meet and exceed sales quotas.,Plan and deliver Quarterly Business Reviews and Success Plans.,Monitor customer usage data, go-live dates, and health indicators to develop strategies for account retention and growth.,Advocate for industry and customer needs within Lightspeed to support innovation.,Work cross-functionally with internal teams (implementation, support, product) to provide high customer satisfaction and resolve at-risk situations.,Own and drive the strategy for each customer in the book of business.,Funnel customer feedback to appropriate teams to improve the customer journey and address product gaps.

Ideal Candidate

Experience in customer success, account management, sales development, or business development.,Understanding of solution-based consultative sales and customer success in a SaaS environment.,Professional poise and confidence in communicating with customers.,Great task and time management skills, including managing a sales funnel and proactive customer engagement.,Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (preferred).,Ability to use Salesforce and Churn Zero (preferred).,Industry expertise in retail/hospitality (preferred).
