Description

This role involves managing a portfolio of existing Lightspeed merchants who have been offered funding through Lightspeed Capital. The Account Manager is responsible for proactively promoting financial services, building trusted client relationships, identifying sales opportunities, negotiating contracts, and achieving sales targets by providing expert advice and service. Key responsibilities also include providing merchant feedback to business leaders and understanding the risk associated with Merchant Capital Advances.

What We're Looking For

Proactively reach out to existing customers to promote financial services offering,Provide exceptionally high levels of service and use effective sales techniques to position and drive awareness on Lightspeed Capital,Build a trusted advisor relationship with customers and identify financial service opportunities,Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise the growth of book of business,Achieve sales targets by providing exceptional advice and service,Employ effective business development & relationship management techniques,Provide regular feedback and be the voice of the merchant to business leaders,Understand the risk based nature of Merchant Capital Advances and how to communicate this with merchants

Ideal Candidate

Sales experience, preferably selling a financial service product, with a track record of high performance for several years running,Understanding of solution-based consultative sales in a SaaS environment,Ability to use Salesforce.com and other technologies to manage and organise pipeline,Strong interpersonal skills to manage and build solid partnerships both internally and externally,Ability to work collaboratively and closely with adjacent teams, forging positive and valuable relationships
