Lightspeed is seeking a Capital Account Manager to join their Capital Sales Team. This role involves managing accounts of eligible merchants who have been offered funding through Lightspeed Capital, with a focus on business development activities in assigned territories to drive awareness and adoption of financial services.
Proactively reach out to existing customers to promote financial services.,Provide high levels of service and use effective sales techniques for Lightspeed Capital.,Build trusted advisor relationships and identify financial service opportunities.,Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize book of business growth.,Achieve sales targets by providing exceptional advice and service, coordinating with regional leaders.,Employ effective business development & relationship management techniques to meet or exceed sales targets.,Provide regular feedback from merchants to business leaders.,Understand and communicate the risk-based nature of Merchant Capital Advances.
Sales experience, preferably selling a financial service product, with a track record of high performance for several years.,Understanding of solution-based consultative sales in a SaaS environment.,Ability to use Salesforce.com and other technologies to manage and organize pipeline.,Strong interpersonal skills to manage and build solid partnerships both internally and externally.,Ability to work collaboratively and closely with adjacent teams.
Must understand the risk-based nature of Merchant Capital Advances and how to communicate this with merchants.
