Account Executive, TD Equipment Finance

Description

This role is within the TD Equipment Finance team, a Centre of Excellence in Business Banking. The Account Executive will be responsible for structuring equipment financing (leases and loans) for business clients and prospects. The position focuses on developing and closing new business in the Hamilton, Niagara, and surrounding areas through external sources and referrals from Commercial Banking Centres within TD.

What We're Looking For

Provide support and expertise to assigned Commercial Banking Centers (CBCs) to exceed sales, revenue, volume, and new customer objectives.

Solicit and fund direct business (non-Bank) through cold calling, COIs, vendors, etc.

Develop sales strategy within the region and build a strong pipeline for new potential customers.

Build strong relationships with internal and external business partners to increase referral flow.

Structure creative competitive equipment finance solutions to meet customer needs.

Assess credit requests to determine risk and make appropriate recommendations to the TDEF credit team.

Prepare high-quality credit applications with strong risk assessment, credit structure, due diligence, and presentation.

Deliver exceptional service and continuously improve the customer experience.

Identify and respond to changes in the business environment, establishing action plans for customer issues.

Enhance the TDBG brand by participating in network events.

Recommend, introduce, and refer appropriate TDBG Business Partners and Products.

Understand the market and industries within the portfolio to provide value-added service and mitigate risk.

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Business

5+ years of sales and/or customer relationship management experience

5+ years of related experience in the financial industry or equipment financing
