Description

Lightspeed is seeking an Account Executive for their Payments Sales team in Australia. This role focuses on driving the adoption of Lightspeed Payments among existing Australian merchants by transitioning current Point of Sale (POS) customers to Lightspeed's integrated payment processing solution. The role involves managing the sales pipeline, executing sales cycles, partnering with onboarding teams, acting as a Subject Matter Expert for payment processing, and providing product feedback to management.

What We're Looking For

Generate and manage sales opportunities from various lead sources.,Manage the complete sales cycle from qualification to contract closure.,Partner with Onboarding teams for smooth merchant transitions and launches.,Serve as the internal Subject Matter Expert (SME) on payment processing.,Collect and relay merchant feedback to Product Management teams.,3+ years of direct experience in the payment processing industry.,3+ years of experience in a closing role focused on technology or solution sales.,Proven ability to proactively generate and qualify new opportunities.,Documented history of success in a revenue target or quota-based environment.,Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
