Lightspeed is seeking an experienced Account Executive for their Payments Sales team in Australia. This role focuses on driving the adoption of Lightspeed Payments among existing Lightspeed Point of Sale (POS) merchants in Australia, transitioning them to the company's integrated payment processing solution. The position involves managing the full sales cycle and serving as a subject matter expert on payment processing.
Pipeline Management: Generate and manage sales opportunities using leads from Account Managers, BDRs, direct outreach, and marketing campaigns.,Sales Execution: Manage the complete sales cycle from qualification to contract closure.,Customer Launch: Partner with Onboarding teams for a smooth merchant transition.,Internal Expertise: Serve as the internal Subject Matter Expert (SME) on payment processing.,Product Feedback: Collect and relay merchant feedback to Product Management teams.,Direct experience (3+ years) in the payment processing industry.,Demonstrated experience (3+ years) in a closing role focused on technology or solution sales.,Proven ability to proactively generate and qualify new opportunities.,Documented history of success in a revenue target or quota-based environment.
