Description

Vention is a company that enables manufacturing firms to automate their production processes rapidly using its Manufacturing Automation Platform (MAP). This role involves being central to innovative projects, working in a future-oriented environment with a strong team spirit. The Account Executive will focus on consultative selling to identify optimal automation solutions, manage the entire sales funnel from lead qualification to closing deals, collaborate with Application Engineers to design functional machines using Vention’s tools, and provide feedback to leadership to refine sales strategies and achieve targets.

What We're Looking For

Key responsibilities include consultative selling, managing the entire lead and sales pipeline, collaborating with Application Engineers on technical designs using Vention's MachineBuilder, and contributing to strategic growth by providing field feedback to leadership. Required profile includes expertise in sales techniques (Discovery Calls, qualification frameworks like MEDDIC or BANT), technical aptitude with production environments and automation requirements, strong collaboration skills with engineering teams, and a mindset of accountability for CRM hygiene, accurate forecasting, and quota attainment.

Ideal Candidate

Candidates should have sales proficiency in discovery calls, qualification frameworks (e.g., MEDDIC or BANT), and closing techniques. They need technical aptitude, comfort with production environments, and an understanding of mechanical or electrical automation. Collaboration skills are essential for working with engineering, alongside accountability for CRM, forecasting, and a quota-carrying mindset. Fluent French and English are required, with German and other European languages being assets. The ideal candidate is a builder and operator who combines strategy with hands-on execution.
