This Summer Analyst position at CIBC US Middle Market involves working with senior team members to expand the investment banking platform in the US. Responsibilities include providing research and analysis, assisting with the preparation of pitch presentations, and supporting the execution of live transactions. Summer Analysts will receive training and mentorship, gaining exposure to the full-time analyst role.
What We're Looking For
Conduct research on potential strategic and financial buyers for sell-side M&A transactions.,Assemble leveraged buyout, comparable public company, precedent transaction, and discounted cash flow analyses.,Assist with the preparation of transaction marketing materials, including confidential offering memoranda, teasers, and management presentations.,Assist with ad-hoc financial analyses for pitches and transactions.,Conduct industry research.
Ideal Candidate
Enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.,Expected graduation date of December 2027 – June 2028.
