This internship program at TD Bank focuses on finance, specifically U.S. Accounting. Key activities include financial and strategic advice, performance management reporting, business case analysis, planning and forecasting, P&L and balance sheet management, and participation in strategic discussions. The intern will also support accounting and financial reporting activities, interpret U.S. GAAP and regulatory guidance, evaluate accounting policy implications, partner with other departments for accurate reporting, support quarterly and annual financial reporting, and help identify control considerations for SOX and audit requirements. The 10-week program offers professional development, networking, senior leader interactions, mentorship, community service, and potential entry into a rotational analyst program.
