This co-op opportunity involves working within the Operational Excellence (OpEx) team of Moderna's CMC Supply Chain. The role focuses on driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality and service levels through process improvements, value stream mapping, data analysis, and the application of lean tools. The co-op will support and lead projects aimed at improving supply chain operations and contributing to a culture of financial discipline.
Support the implementation of OpEx initiatives within supply chain and product value streams.,Conduct value stream mapping and analysis to identify improvement opportunities.,Participate in or lead workshops or kaizens for rapid improvement.,Lead continuous improvement project(s), focusing on KPIs like cost savings, lead time reduction, quality improvements, and process standardization.,Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality to drive data-driven process improvements.,Participate in root cause analyses to identify improvement opportunities and recommend solutions.,Support change management and the deployment of new tools and processes in the supply chain.,Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for project status and findings, and present results to key stakeholders.
