2026 Co-Op, Quality, Strategic Operations
Description
Moderna's Global Quality Strategic Operations team is seeking a high-performing Industrial Engineering or MBA candidate for a co-op role. This position focuses on contributing to enterprise-wide transformation initiatives within Global Quality, with an emphasis on strategy, operational excellence, and workforce planning. The co-op will support and potentially lead high-visibility projects within the Transformation Office, collaborating across various CMC, R&D, and global manufacturing sites. This role provides direct exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to influence resource planning, performance, and the future operating model of Global Quality. The co-op will run from July 13th to December 11th, 2026. [1, 3]
What We're Looking For
Support governance, alignment, and performance reporting for Global Quality's Transformation Office portfolio. [1, 3],Develop executive-ready reporting materials that track initiative impact, risks, and progress. [1, 3],Help ensure initiatives are aligned to strategic priorities and delivering measurable business value. [1, 3],Operationalize a workforce capacity system as a strategic management tool. [1, 3],Partner with Quality leaders to embed the model into planning and decision-making processes. [1, 3],Identify efficiency opportunities and improvement levers through data-driven workforce analysis. [1, 3],Develop dashboards and visual tools to support ongoing performance transparency. [1, 3],Lead or support quality-owned process improvement initiatives across enterprise functions. [1, 3],Conduct process mapping, root cause analyses, and performance diagnostics. [1, 3],Apply Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to identify and implement sustainable improvements. [1, 3],Facilitate workshops and working sessions with cross-functional stakeholders. [3],Collaborate with Quality teams across the enterprise. [5]
Ideal Candidate
Currently enrolled in an MBA, Industrial Engineering, or related quantitative/scientific degree program. [3],Strong interest in Operational Excellence, Business Transformation, or Strategic Operations. [3],Advanced analytical capabilities and structured problem-solving skills. [3],Strong written and verbal communication skills. [3],Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment. [3],Must already hold work authorization in the US and be able to maintain that status without the need for future sponsorship. [3]
