This Co-Op role involves supporting the critical reagents group within the Biomolecular and Molecular assay teams. The individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams on protein analysis, qualification, and management of critical reagents. It is an in-person, laboratory-based position focused on routine biophysical characterization and documentation, as well as maintaining a database of reference standards. The co-op will also learn about implementing compliance policies and collaborate on risk assessments.
Support critical reagents group activities across Biomolecular and Molecular assay teams.,Work closely with cross-functional teams for protein analysis, qualification, and management of critical reagents.,Perform routine Biophysical Characterization (LCMS, SDS-PAGE, cIEF, SPR, BLI, SEC-HPLC, SEC-MALS, UV-VIS) for reagent performance evaluation and documentation.,Complete ELN documentation for all lab activities.,Help maintain a database of Reference standards/reagents, including specifications, source, usage, and expiration dates.,Learn implementation of policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.,Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop reagent-specific risk assessments and mitigation strategies.,Monitor industry trends and advancements in critical reagent management and implement best practices.,Must be available for the entire duration of the role (July 13th - December 11th, 2026).,Must hold work authorization in the US and be able to maintain that status without the need for future sponsorship.
Enrolled in an undergraduate or Graduate program in Protein Biochemistry, Biology, Molecular Biology, Genomics, Bioengineering, Computational Biology, or a related field.,Coursework or hands-on experience with at least one of the following: peptide/proteins, aptamer-antibody-based conjugation systems for DNA, RNA, and antibodies.,Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.,Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.,Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.,Clear scientific communication with figures/tables suitable for non-expert audiences.
