This co-op role involves documenting and improving maintenance processes within IBM Maximo, an enterprise maintenance management system. The co-op will work with various teams to map real-world processes, convert existing instructions into clear, compliant training documents, and contribute to process improvement and documentation that can be reused across sites.
Learn how maintenance work requests move through Maximo (request to closure).,Create a clear, end-to-end process map showing steps, decisions, handoffs, and system touchpoints.,Meet with stakeholders (maintenance, planners, engineers, system admins) to confirm accuracy and incorporate feedback.,Finalize an accurate process map for training, onboarding, and process improvement.,Convert existing Work Instructions (WIs) and Job Aids (JAs) into Veeva-compliant documents.,Update screenshots to match the current Maximo system and workflows.,Make documents clearer, more consistent, and easier for users to follow.,Identify appropriate training curricula for each document.,Partner with quality and system owners to finalize documentation.
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program (Engineering, Operations, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Quality, or related field),Comfortable asking questions and working with different teams,Strong attention to detail and organization,Able to turn complex processes into clear visuals and written steps,Familiar with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and basic process-mapping tools,Work authorization in US and ability to maintain status without future sponsorship.,Experience with IBM Maximo or another CMMS/EAM system (Preferred),Exposure to manufacturing, maintenance, or regulated environments (Preferred),Familiarity with SOPs, Work Instructions, or training materials (Preferred),Any experience with Veeva or document management systems (Preferred)
